Opening of Bottega Cini

10 September 2020

Opening of the new concept store that aims to be a point of dialogue between culture and Venetian businesses, with the goal of creating a new type of museum shop, a Renaissance workshop reinterpreted in a contemporary key, located opposite the Galleria di Palazzo Cini, together with the vernissage of the exhibition Venezia Anno Zero (Venice Year Zero) by Andrea Morucchio, winner of the Pasinetti Prize at the 2020 Venice Film Festival.

In its retail space, Bottega Cini brings together local excellence, such as the impiraressa Marisa Convento, who has her own workshop inside the Bottega, the glassworks NasonMoretti and Ercole Moretti, the publishing houses Marsilio and Lineadacqua, the historic artisan paper mill Toscolano 1381 and the print workshop of Gianpaolo Fallani, the sculptures of Giancarlo Franco Tramontin and the forcole (oar-rests) of Saverio Pastor, along with other artisan and artistic ventures that continue to join.
