An “impiraressa” (glass-bead stringer) by trade, she designs and personally creates artistic decorations to wear and for the home using Venetian glass conteria (the smallest of glass beads).

She also creates small fashion accessories and furnishings in fine fabrics, embellished with Venetian beads and seed pearls.

Her workshop is inside Bottega Cini, where she strings the beads by hand and creates wonderful made-to-measure necklaces for her customers.

The age-old papermaking centre of Toscolano Maderno, which supplied Venice during the Serenissima Republic as far back as 1300, has been revived thanks to the passion and expertise of a group of young entrepreneurs who recovered the knowledge of the master papermakers and gave it new life as a startup offering a collection of outstanding products.

Born in 1958, he trained with the last master rowlock-makers (remèri) Giuseppe Carli and Gino Fossetta.
From 1980 he worked on his own, later joining Spazio Legno: with this company he restored the workshop at the Arsenale, where he worked until 2001.
In 2002 he opened the Le Forcole workshop near the church of the Salute.
Attentive to the sculptural and aesthetic qualities of the forcola (oarlock), he works with champion rowers to keep improving the performance of forcole and oars.
He experiments with new materials while always remaining tied to traditional construction methods and tools.
