Carta abitata (Inhabited Paper) at Bottega Cini

7 - 21 November 2021

Carta abitata (Inhabited Paper) narrates the creative act of cellulose, the history of Venetian paper production, new arrangements and configurations in the works of Fernando Masone. It is the result of an encounter that developed in the lands of the Serenissima during an artist’s residency where paper, word, image, body and sound breathed in the history of eastern Venetia, through the Tagliamento river, one with the Venice of the lagoon.

– Screening of the short film and documentary Carta Abitata. Una cartiera, una villa, un territorio da vivere (Inhabited Paper. A paper mill, a villa, a territory to live in).
– Temporary exhibition of the works of Fernando Masone, curated by Silvia Pichi.
The volumes of handmade cotton paper and the chromatic poetics of the artist’s works accompany participants along an active and engaging path.

Opening Sunday 7 November, 17.00
