Casiraghy. In the Wind of Poetry

Bottega Cini, Venice, 14 April - 16 June 2024, Opening hours 10.00 - 19.00

A journey into the total art of Alberto Casiraghy

To the unreachable myth of total art, pursued by the historic avant-gardes and beyond, perhaps no one has come closer than the magical little man of Osnago, in Brianza, Alberto Casiraghy. A typographer in the manner of Gutenberg, a poet and author of striking aphorisms that are never forgotten, a graphic artist and artist who has seen everything of the twentieth century and reworks it in an autonomous and original way in a surrealist-Dadaist key, as an heir to Bruno Munari, an unrivalled publisher of twelve thousand Pulcinoelefante editions printed in very few copies. Not to mention the art of his own life, lived as a free and disinterested man. On the occasion of the 2024 Biennale, it is worth getting to know and reckoning with a giant of Italian art and beyond.
